Strengths
- Veterans are most suited for generating a nationalistic and democratic society since they follow a culture which is apolitical and does not discriminate on the basis of religion, caste, creed or status.
- Over 30 lakh Veterans can unite for a democratic awakening and contribute in Nation building.
- Veterans represent various stratas of the society and are present in every nook and corner of the country, thus can have greater influence on society from the very grass root level up.
Approach
- Establishing national and state level functional organization of Veterans irrespective of ranks.
- Partnering with local political, civil administration, social and educational organizations to uphold interests of nationalism.
- Engagement in activities aimed towards encouraging nationalism and patriotism amongst youth and children.
- Continuous interaction amongst Veterans at national and local level.
- Providing a platform for veterans to interact at national and local level.
- Organize state and national level functions to restore honour and self-respect of veterans.
Youth
As per the Youth Policy of Gov. of India of 2014 any individual who is aged between 15-29 is termed as a youth and this age group constitutes 28% of the total population of the country. Youth is the time of life when one is young, and often means the time between childhood and adulthood (maturity). It is also defined as “the appearance, freshness, vigor, spirit, etc. Youth are backbone to the nation. They can change the future of the society with their well being and courageous behavior. In a society different strata and groups of people live; such as young, old, rich and poor; the most important and significant proxy of a society which plays a decisive role is the youth and fresh generation of that society.
Empowerment
Youth empowerment is an attitudinal, structural, and cultural process whereby young people gain the ability, authority, and agency to make decisions and implement change in their own lives and the lives of other people, including youth and adults. It is also a process where children and young people are encouraged to take charge of their lives. They do this by addressing their situation and then take action in order to improve their access to resources and transform their consciousness through their beliefs, values, and attitudes

Concept of Motivation: The term motivation is derived from the word ‘motive”. The word ‘motive’ as a noun means an objective, as a verb this word means moving into action. Therefore, motives are forces which induce people to act in a way, so as to ensure the fulfillment of a particular human need at a time. Motivation is the reason for people’s actions, desires, and needs. Motivation is also one’s direction to behavior, or what causes a person to want to repeat a behavior. Motivation comes from within the individual. Your Controlling power should be such that you should have only such thought which you desire to have.

Moral values are the standards of good and evil, which govern an individual’s behavior and choices. Individual’s morals may derive from parents, society, government, religion, or self. The right ethics and cherished cords that guide our behavior and inter personal relationship.
Moral values are important in life because: If a person has never learned about moral values then how can he/she decide between the good and the bad. Moral values reflect an individual’s character and spirituality. They help in building good relationships in personal as well as professional lives.
