Operation Jago Activity of Sikligar Sikh Welfare Society ( PHASE-TWO )
        1. Founded in 2008, AIM to upgrade the Socio-Economic status of Sikligar and Vanjara Sikhs, founded in 2008. Area selected—HYDERABAD REGION.
        2. Primary areas of activity—EDUCATION ECONOMIC UPLIFTMENT AND SIKH PARCHAR.
          1. Education
            1. Tuition classes for underprivileged students.
            2. Career camps for students above 9th std.
            3. Education through regular schooling.
            4. Tuition fee payment for bright students.
            5. Counseling parents and students to continue studies. Dropouts could be helped to join open Universities.
            6. Technical Skills programs such as Machinist, Electrician, and Plumber etc.
          2. Identifying key workers and volunteers in the communities to provide support and create leadership within the community for sustained results.
          3. Develop Volunteers to provide support to apply for available Scholarships and benefits of Govt. for OBC’s, SC’s and ST students.
          4. Economic support on a case to case basis to start small business and other employment means.
          5. Identify Establishments in the form of community Centres such as Gurudwaras, Mandirs etc. and transform them into functional community Centres to uplift the community.
          6. Create awareness and foster Environment conservation through team work and plan to uplift Education, Religion and preventive health.
        3. Project on opening of a school This project was actually initiated by the ISC, Chief Khlasa Diwan Amritsar and Education and Technical Foundation (VETF) Hyderabad. It is now supported by Gurmat missionary College Ropar and both SGPC and DSGMC in the form of Parcharaks and supply of free literature and Musical Instruments for Coaching purposes.
        4. The School Project The current plan is to obtain Govt. Sanction for a School, initially up to the 6th/7th standards as per existing rules. However this organization is prepared to impart education in the nursery and KG classes only in Gudwara Shastar Sahib Premises in Subhashnagar, Jeedimetla , Hyderabad.
